Art After Hours at Pomona College on Thursdays from 5:00pm to 11:00pm

Pomona College Museum of Art is starting their second season of Art After Hours where they keep the museum open late so that those of us who work can go see the exhibits. And I admit, I haven’t been to see the China Insights photos yet, so I’ll be there on Thursday night. The museum is planning a lot of events around this exhibit, including an opportunity for Claremont College students to win $300 grants for a related video production. Spread the word.

As a side note, I’ve just come from Kim Dingle’s talk & she was a delight. It was exactly as I’d hoped – she showed slides of her work & talked about the evolution of her paintings and sculptures. I just wish she’d had slides of her new stuff. This is the first in a series of lectures and I’ll be posting more previews so you don’t miss the next one.
